Short, because the service is simple. Last changed 10 October 2026.
What the service does
Root Files turns the answers you type into robots.txt, sitemap.xml and security.txt files, and tests robots.txt rules you paste. It does not visit your website, send email or look anything up. The files follow the published formats as we understand them; check them before you rely on them, and keep a copy of any file you replace.
Your Book
A Book is opened by its private link. Anyone holding the link can open, change or delete it, so keep it like a key. We cannot recover a lost link. A Book that nobody opens for 400 days, and that has no pass running, is deleted.
The Root Files Pass
The Root Files Pass will cost $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, paid through PayPal, and will renew until cancelled in PayPal. A cancelled pass runs to the end of the period already paid. Checkout is not open yet: during this preview every pass feature is free and nobody is charged.
Fair use
Daily limits keep the service quick for everyone: new Books, link openings and saves per day. Do not use the service to attack or overload it.
Who runs it
Root Files is a self-service tool of WeldonPC (Garfield Heights, Ohio). It is not WeldonPC's help desk or billing; those are at weldonpc.com.
